Eden.coop is being built as a cooperative, privacy-first directory for Topanga. We want data practices that are understandable, respectful, and aligned with the people who use the platform.

Data we collect

Name and basic listing details you choose to publish.
Phone number for authentication and profile claiming flows.
Directory profile information like category, description, website, and related listing metadata.

How we use it

To power the public directory and help neighbors discover one another.
To support signals, notifications, and relevant community activity inside Eden.
To maintain account access, respond to support requests, and improve the product experience.

Your rights

Claim your listing if it belongs to you.
Edit or update your listing information.
Request deletion or suppression of your listing and related data where applicable.

Cooperative data principles

We aim to minimize data collection to what is useful and community-serving.
We do not treat member data as a resource to be sold or exploited.
We design for transparency, stewardship, and resident agency over personal information.
